He will also discuss his vision for precision biology and preventive personalized medicine via cellular BASICs (Biologic Application Specific Intergrated Circuits)\u2013 Self-powered Integrated Microfluidic Blood Analysis System (SIMBAS) and Optofluidic Application Specific Integrated System (OASIS).\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EProf. Luke P. Lee is an Arnold and Barbara Silverman Distinguished Professor of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley.  He is also director of Biomedical Institute for Global Healthcare Research \u0026amp; Technology, and Co-Director of Berkeley Sensor \u0026amp; Actuator Center.  He received both his B.A. and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.  His current research interests are bionanoscience, biophotonics, molecular imaging of living cells, molecular diagnostics, and preventive personalized medicine by Bioinspired Photonics-Optofluidics-Electronics Technology and Science (BioPOETS).
