{"71784":{"#nid":"71784","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Yu-Ting Hsueh Selected for IEEE Photonics Society Fellowship","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EYu-Ting Hsueh was selected for an IEEE Photonics \nSociety Graduate Student Fellowship Award. A Ph.D. student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Georgia Tech, she received this honor on \nOctober 11 at the IEEE Photonics Conference, held in Arlington, Va.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EMs. Hsueh has published more than 30 papers in prestigious journals and conference proceedings, and she was first author for 14 papers. She also won the Bor-Uei Chen Outstanding Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by the Photonics Society of Chinese-Americans, for outstanding accomplishments in graduate study in 2009. As the second Ph.D. student from ECE Professor Gee-Kung Chang\u0027s research group to receive the IEEE Photonics Society Graduate Student Fellowship Award, Yu-Ting is doing her Ph.D. thesis research on radio over fiber and 100G optical transport systems.
