Carl\nhas also recently started a new consulting practice, YourVeryBestStory.com, which\nclaims the transformative power of Story as a CEO leadership tool.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003EIn addition to launching his own entrepreneurial ventures, he has\nhelped many young start-up companies and entrepreneurs through mentoring and\nacting as interim CEO.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003EDuring his career, he has worked in four of the Creative\nIndustries, and for ten years has been teaching courses in Creative Entrepreneurship\nat Duke University. His first job was as a fishing guide in Ontario, he has written\na series of novels about his experience there.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003EAbout\nthe Impact Speaker Series\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003ESince 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business\nleaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and\ngive advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from\n\u0022building a venture around intellectual capital\u0022 to \u0022successful\nentrepreneurship in large organizations\u0022 and \u0022socially responsible\nleadership\u0022. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta\nbusiness community an opportunity to network and learn from successful\nentrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit\nleaders.
