{"72727":{"#nid":"72727","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Tech Remembers 9\/11 Victims","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThis weekend, Georgia Tech students will display close to 3,000 American flags as part of a memorial and remembrance ceremony to recognize the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 on this fifth anniversary of the tragedy.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe American Flag Memorial will consist of nearly 3,000 flags set up on Skiles Lawn, to represent each life that was lost during the 9\/11 terrorist attacks.  From Saturday through Monday, the flags will be displayed and organizers will raise money to sponsor a brick in Georgia Tech\u0027s name at the future World Trade Center Memorial.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EIn addition to the flag memorial and ceremony, a moment of silence will be observed on Monday, September 11, at 12:00 noon and a remembrance ceremony will be held on Monday, September 11, at 6:00 p.m. at the Campanile, near the Student Center.
