We demonstrate distinct \u2018adhesive signature\u2019 of hiPSCs compared to contaminating cells and exploited this to efficiently isolate undifferentiated hiPSCs with \u0026gt;98% purity using controlled fluid forces in microfluidic devices.\n\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EMcKenzie Smith\u003C\/strong\u003E - Advisor, Mark Styczynski, PhD\n\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cem\u003ETowards More Effective Systems Biology: Approaches to Discovering Protein-Metabolite Regulatory Interactions in Yeast\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\n\u003Cbr \/\u003EMetabolic engineering efforts are often hampered by complications arising from unforeseen interactions within the host organism. We seek to effect a broad-scale identification of protein-metabolite interactions in S. cerevisiae using small-molecule microarrays coupled with GC-MS-based binding assays.\n\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe Graduate and Post-Doc (GaP) Seminar Series is a weekly event of biotechnology related research presentations by two graduate students or post-docs of IBB and is co-sponsored by BME.
