The goal of the CFP and subsequent HIAs is to demonstrate the effectiveness of HIAs and promote their incorporation into local, state, tribal, and federal decision-making. Government agencies, educational institutions and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will receive grants of $25,000 to $150,000.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHIAs bring together relevant public input, available data and a range of qualitative and quantitative methods to anticipate the potential health consequences of a proposed policy, program or project.
