Each month, the Healthy Places Research Group brings together researchers, students, practitioners, community advocates and others from an array of disciplines to learn more about how the places where we live, work, go to school, and recreate can influence our health.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn February Tom Weyandt, Director, Comprehensive Planning Division, Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), will talk about ARC\u0027s recently-released growth projections for the Atlanta region and the types of development projects recently-recognized by the ARC in their Developments of Excellence award program that are good models for future growth.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Healthy Places Research Group (HPRG) is a collaborative effort involving Emory University\u0027s Rollins School of Public Health, Georgia Tech\u0027s College of Architecture, and the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development.
