The Bicycle/Pedestrian Plan evaluates existing conditions, identifies strategies for improving biking and walking along the region's roadways, and contains policy recommendations for ARC and local governments. Those in attendance at the May 22 workshop will learn how public input has been incorporated into the Plan so far, get a preview of the policy recommendations to be incorporated in the Plan update, and be invited to comment.

Time and Location:
Tuesday, May 22 from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Conversation Pit on the Lower Level of the Atlanta-Fulton County Central Library, One Margaret Mitchell Square, in Downtown Atlanta

More information can be found at http://www.atlantaregional.com/cps/rde/xchg/arc/hs.xsl/81_3287_ENU_HTML.htm or by calling 404.463.3194.

On May 21 and May 22, Department of Planning and Community Development will host a second series of public forums for Atlanta Greenspace and Atlanta Regional Commission will host a community open house for its updated Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan.
http://www.gatech.edu/contact/index.html?id=ebarrella3">Contact Elise Barrella
404-385-5124
