  <title><![CDATA[Georgia Tech Helps Boost State Economy]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Georgia Institute of Technology's impact on the state's economy totals $1.8 billion, according to an updated report released by the University System of Georgia (USG). In addition, the study determined that Georgia Tech is responsible for 14,281 full- and part-time jobs in the state. Georgia Tech led the seven USG institutions in the metro Atlanta area, which combined, account for nearly $4.5 billion and 40,700 jobs.</p>]]></body>
