Among them is Sean Kolk, an undergraduate student in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0022As part of Start-Up Chile\u0027s first generation, Sanivation, a group of five entrepreneurs from Georgia Tech\u0022 (including INTA alum Sean Kolk), \u0022arrived to Chile in June of 2011 to begin piloting their solar powered sanitation system. Their method harnesses the sun\u0027s energy to heat fecal matter to over 50\u00ba C, completely decontaminating it and rendering it safe to then be used on crops as an organic soil amendment.
