Myrna Steel Roberts, 34, an Electronic Systems Laboratory research associate at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), died on Dec. 18.
Roberts began working at GTRI in 2009. Services were held at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church last month.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations may be sent to the Sickle Cell Foundation.
