He began his journey at Tech in 1975 as a post doctoral candidate under Professor Dick Fink. He then accepted a permanent position with Tech as a Lab Coordinator for the undergraduate teaching labs. Throughout the years, he has played important roles in teaching organic, analytical and physical chemistry labs. His colleagues bade him a fond farewell, with a reception in the Molecular Science and Engineering building which attracted faculty, students and alumni. His enthusiasm, wisdom and stories will be missed by the entire school. We salute Dr. Braga as he begins the next chapter of his life outside of our Chemistry labs.
